Placing Implants is the #1 Most Lucrative Way Dentists Grow Their Practice

2 days Course –  Theoretical – €700 ex. btw
28 & 29 June 2019
Genval, België

This two-day theoretical lessons program was specially developed by the Quality Implant Team so that the student can learn and understand the most modern and most used principles and techniques of immediate implant placement with immediate provisionalization. In this theoretical course will be presented to students the Tissue Care Concept Technique, developed by prof. Joseph Kan (USA), as well as the Immediate Dentalveolar Restoration Technique, developed by prof. José Carlos da Rosa (Brazil). This course will also show how to correctly perform the subepithelial connective tissue graft, as well as, the preparation of the immediate provisional crown respecting the functional and aesthetic principles demands.

28 June ______________________________________________________________

Day 1 – Morning

Immediate dental implants  (9:00 – 12:00)

Implant placement concepts. What is it? What is the success rate and how does it work? We will present the challenges inherent to the technique as: Exodontia, 3d positioning, primary stability, infected areas. We will present the two philosophies used by the group: Tissue Care Concept (Joseph Kan) and Immediate Dental Alveolar Restoration (José Carlos da Rosa).

Day 1 – Afternoon  (13:30 – 18:00)

Biology of Socket Healing / Soft Tissue Management

We will present the concepts regarding the healing of the dental alveolus right after the dental extraction (alveolar anatomy process, resorption theory of the bundle bone of the dental alveolus, what happens to the alveolus after the dental implant placement?).

We will see the concept of modification of the gingival biotype through the sub-epithelial connective tissue graft (surgical technique, donor region, technique-related sutures)

Day 2 – Morning

Prosthetic Phase ( 9:00 – 10:30)

We will present the keys to aesthetic success in the prosthetic phase, risks and strategies to prevent aesthetic complications. We will also mention the concept of platform switching, cemented or screw retained  prosthesis and the theoretical bases for making temporary crowns.

Day 2 – Morning  ( 10:30 – 12:00 )

Clinical cases

In this first hour of the morning we will present a selection of clinical cases referring to the placement of immediate implants with immediate provisioning, following with all the concepts presented during the course.
